Learning Targets
Each scholar will be required to take the AP Music Theory exam in the spring; exam fees apply. This course is designed as a continuation of Digital Audio Workstation 1. Students will continue to discover the complete functions of Garage Band and FL Studios utilizing modern expertise for recording samples, MIDI sequencing, looping and music composition. Students will continue writing and composing music in hip-hop types. Students will be concerned in multiple initiatives that engage their studying of different social and cultural elements influencing their own compositions of hip-hop music. The most gifted highschool college students from across the nation come to Los Angeles to participate within the five-day camp.
Create A Rhythm Band
Various latin jazz rhythms/styles may even be introduced throughout the year.
