This course will prepare students for involvement within the areas of recreation, interscholastic and collegiate sports in addition to NCAA compliance. A evaluation of the foundations of non-major sports activities will be emphasized, as there is an increase in participation in these sports activities by scholastic and faculty athletes. This course may also assist students develop careers in the interscholastic sport administration. This course is designed to teach the student the fundamental abilities essential to play the sport of Basketball appropriately. It will think about the history, guidelines and etiquette of basketball, as nicely as the talents required to play the game each offensively and defensively. This course will introduce college students to music from Ancient Greek times to present.
