This course is designed to develop an awareness of the principle process of cultural growth in Caribbean societies, highlighting the components, the problematic and the inventive output that have fed the emergence of Caribbean identities. It also develops a notion of the Caribbean as wider than island nations or linguistic blocs and stimulates students’ curiosity in, and commitment to Caribbean civilization and to further their self-determination. In order to be awarded the BSc Political Science diploma, college students should successfully complete the 90 credits as specified in the programme structure.
